A 67-year-old man in Essonne, France, was violently assaulted by an attacker shouting: “Dirty Jew, I will kill you.”
This is not an isolated act. For months, Jews have faced near-daily discrimination throughout the country.
According to our @AJC_Paris–Fondapol survey, 36% of Jews wearing visible Jewish symbols have been victims of antisemitic acts since October 7, 2023, and 86% live in fear of being targeted.
France must do more. Antisemitism, especially when disguised as Israel-hatred, must be confronted with zero tolerance. Words are no longer enough.
Iran has vowed to destroy Israel. Its regime mocks the world by enriching uranium to dangerous levels in pursuit of a bomb. Its leaders urge “Death to America.”
Israel launched these strikes to defend its people. Just as the United States would. Any country facing the existential threat of an enemy vowing to destroy it closing in on the ability to do so would take bold action to defend itself. Israel, too, has that right.
Let’s stand with our ally. We stand with Israel. 🇺🇸🇮🇱💪🏼
Sarah Milgrim was laid to rest today in Overland Park, Kansas, surrounded by family, friends, and community members who knew her for her compassion and deep commitment to building a better world.
AJC was honored that @AJCCEO Ted Deutch was able to attend and stand beside Sarah’s loved ones in this moment of profound grief.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sarah’s family and all who knew and loved her. Her light and legacy will not be forgotten.

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. We all know what the current administration and officials have been doing to try and erase the Trans communities. If you are an ally you can not be silent. Speak out against hate and educate. #TransDayOfVisibility
Hamas has brought nothing but death and destruction to the Palestinian people and to Gaza.
We commend these brave protesters for standing up to Hamas, even at great personal risk.
For the region to move forward, Hamas' rule must end.

Elated that Keith Siegel, one of the remaining Israeli-American hostages, is safe and back in Israel!
But let’s not forget that there are STILL Americans held hostage by Hamas terrorists.
I am praying our fellow Americans are reunited with their loved ones ASAP.

Thank you, @EUAntisemitism Coordinator @KSchnurbein, for your powerful reminder at @AJC_CE's International Holocaust Remembrance Day commemoration about the need to intensify our efforts against antisemitism.
Eight decades after the unimaginable horrors of the Holocaust, the alarming resurgence this age-old hatred serves as a stark and painful reminder that the world has failed to internalize the devastating consequences of unchecked antisemitism.
