A double World Cup winner like Arshdeep ridiculing a fellow Indian WC winner by for skin colour is just appalling. As someone who has seen the other side during school days I find this culture even at this level just disgusting. I am sure they understand that they influence millions. Lost all respect.

First reaction of market is always to look at companies which r obvious beneficiaries of this trade deal. Probably rightly so. The only problem is that you might not get anything as most of the obvious things r on circuits. The interesting companies would be to look at companies with decent result delivery and have got rogered due to weak sentiment in last 3 months. Probably little non obvious and little more remunerative. My 2 cents on such a day.

Bad results..no one on the call..call finishes in 30 minutes..good results..can’t get turn to ask question..after 1 hour also..

The process of demerger is so long in India that it’s crazy..one of our invested companies announced demerger in Dec 23 and was able execute demerger in Sep 25. 21 long months inspite of no shareholder issue or banker issue. The new resultant 2nd company is still not listed even after 3 more months. All the approvals take its own sweet time. Extremely slow and frustrating. 2 years gone.

Slump sale should have a vote of majority of the minority even when it’s not related party..so many examples in India by now where promoters sell the company in slump and minority gets less than 20-30 cents a dollar..first there will be expenses at company level (which will be inflated)..then company will pay capital gains tax..then if at all they decide to share 20 cents with you there will be dividend tax at marginal rate like 35%..so this is proper theft..any promoter who does this knows exactly where he is gonna take out money and how..

Like in chess and batting..One mistake can ruin your entire work in investing if you r playing highly concentrated game. Bowling is like playing diversified portfolio. You can get hit for a couple of boundaries and can still make a come back with a wicket later in the over.

Seems our currency is behaving like a small cap stock..This is really very stark depreciation in a time when other currencies r appreciating..

There is a fine line between an optimistic promoter and a delusional promoter. There is an also a fine line between an optimistic investor and a delusional investor. Some stock investments make you feel the best combination (O + O) but some make you delusional partnering with a delusional promoter. Unfortunately been there done that. Part of game I guess.
