BREAKING: Donald Trump is hit with a mysterious scandal as it's unearthed that a shady company has received more than $3 million from his campaign so far this year — and the owners aren't disclosed.
But the plot thickens...
According to campaign finance records, the money in question has been funneled to "Launchpad Strategies LLC." It was incorporated in Delaware in November and has a Raleigh, North Carolina post office box as its listed address.
Bizarrely, state officials in North Carolina told NBC News that they have no record of the company registered in the state.
"We don’t have a business entity by that name in our Business Registration database," explained Liz Proctor, a spokeswoman for North Carolina's secretary of state.
Thus far, the company has received $3.1 million from the Trump campaign and an affiliated joint fundraising committee. It's the second-largest vendor used this year by the Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee.
Crucially, "Launchpad Strategies LLC" has never before done political work for state-level or federal candidates according to financial disclosures.
This of course raises the obvious question: What is this company and who is benefitting from it?
Their website offers zero information about its services or who operates it. NBC News reached out to the organization for explanation but heard nothing back.
Watchdog groups are understandably concerned.
"It’s concerning to see a company formed just six months ago suddenly receive over $3.1 million from Donald Trump’s network of political committees, particularly since there is virtually no public information about this company," said Saurav Ghosh, the Campaign Legal Center's director of federal campaign finance reform.
"Who works there, what services they offer or have provided and whether Trump’s payments to ‘Launchpad Strategies LLC’ are for bona fide services or are, instead, actually payments to other vendors funneled through a mere corporate shell," Ghosh added.
Something deeply shady is going on here and since it involves our presidential election, the American people have a right to know what.

Emily Baden used to live in the same D.C. suburb as Alito. She found herself in a feud with Alito and his deranged, equally far-right wife over political lawn signs. The fight escalated into insults and confrontations in the street.
Baden has stated that Martha-Ann Alito was the instigator — a claim that certainly tracks with Mrs. Alito's unhinged behavior elsewhere and her fondness for MAGA insurrectionist flags.
On several occasions, Alito's security detail parked their large black car right outside of Baden's house as a show of force, rather than where it had normally parked down the street.
"This happened a handful of times, I took that as directly threatening," Baden said.
"I couldn’t say who was in the car because of the tinted glass, and nobody ever said anything. I took it as a general threat," she added. "The message was, we could do terrible things to you, and nobody would be able to do anything about it. When it comes to justices at the supreme court, they make the laws, but the laws don’t apply to them."
This is, of course, a gross abuse of power. Alito's security team exists to keep him safe from threats, not intimidate neighbors whenever his wife gets into an argument.
Alito is an utter disgrace and his continued presence on the Supreme Court undermines the entire institution's legitimacy.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's former lawyer throws him under the bus in his hush money trial, asserts that Trump is now in "direction violation" of his gag order because he attacked Michael Cohen.
This is a brutal betrayal...
"This interview to me does seem to be a direct violation of the order as it is written," said attorney Tim Parlatore on CNN, referring to an interview in which Trump called Cohen a "convicted liar" with "no credibility whatsoever."
"And so I think it is problematic for them, especially that this airs, you know, while the judge is currently sitting and trying to decide the issue," Parlatore added.
He went on to explain that Judge Juan Merchan will decide whether or not Trump violated his gag order by attacking a witness based on what his attorneys have relayed.
"Because if he’s, complying with his lawyer’s interpretation, then maybe the wrong person is my target," Parlatore. "And so, you know, is [Trump attorney] Todd Blanche trying to take fire away from his client? I don’t know, but it is definitely a situation that I wouldn’t want to be in."
"I mean, I look at this and I think the only really legitimate defense as I see it is to, something that won’t work with this judge, to attack the breadth of the order itself," he went on. "And I think that there is an argument to be made there, but it’s not going to work until you get up on appeal."
Parlatore left Trump's legal team in 2023 after playing a crucial role in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation. He has seen how Trump operates up close and so his insight is invaluable.

BREAKING: Actor Robert De Niro blasts indicted 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, declares that Pres. Biden “on a gurney” is way better than another four years of “evil” traitor Trump as president.
Unfortunately for Trump, DeNiro didn’t stop there, declaring, “I think that if Biden was on a gurney and couldn’t move anything but his eyes to blink ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ he’s our person. There’s no way that he’s not the guy to take Trump down.”
In a call to action, De Niro says he hopes everybody gets out to vote.
“It’s a lot,” he told Rolling Stone while choking up. “I have no choice but to plow through. And my biggest concern now, with everything else, is us getting out of this situation with a monster in Trump. This is a classic grift. This is unreal.”
“If you look at other totalitarian countries like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, it will affect everybody in ways you can’t even imagine,” De Niro added.
The actor said he did not think Trump was a “monster” when he was first elected, but his thoughts have since shifted towards the former president.
“I thought, ‘Maybe he’ll straighten out.’ Now, this guy is beyond dangerous and I just hope people can realize it. Once you go down that road, it won’t be easy to come back.”
Earlier this month, Trump railed against De Niro after the actor criticized the former president in a speech last month at the Gotham Awards. Trump responded, arguing De Niro “should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others.”
Asked about Trump’s response to the speech, De Niro said, “The problem is people respond to him. God forbid he did become president — this is a road where, if we go down it, it will be very hard to turn around.”
De Niro even quoted former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), a staunch critic of Trump, telling Rolling Stone, “As Liz Cheney said, ‘He will not leave,'” and later called the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and Trump’s alleged efforts to stay in power “unbelievable.”

BREAKING: Texas Republicans suffer a major defeat as a federal judge orders Governor Greg Abbott to remove the cruel and dangerous buoys that he has erected in the Rio Grande river to stop migrants.
The much-needed order comes as part of a lawsuit filed by the Biden administration against Texas which has argued that the barriers — which have already resulted in the deaths of innocent migrants — were illegally erected.
"Governor Abbott announced that he was not ‘asking for permission’ for Operation Lone Star, the anti-immigration program under which Texas constructed the floating barrier," wrote District Judge David Alan Ezra.
"Unfortunately for Texas, permission is exactly what federal law requires before installing obstructions in the nation’s navigable waters," he added.
Texas must now remove the buoys by September 15th. MAGA Governor Greg Abbott has already indicated that he in tends to appeal the ruling.
This ruling should be welcomed by anyone who values human lives. Republicans don't see migrants as people and are happy to watch them drown as "deterrence."

BREAKING: Joe Biden reminds Republicans what a REAL president looks like by announcing that he has spoken to MAGA Governor Ron DeSantis to inform him that he has approved an Emergency Declaration for Florida ahead of Hurricane Idalia.
On top of that, President Biden has ordered FEMA to pre-deploy "personnel and assets" and vows that Florida has his "full full support as they prepare for Idalia and its aftermath."
Biden's support for Florida — regardless of it being a bastion of Republican far-right sentiment — just proves how very different he is from Donald Trump. BREAKING: Donald Trump gets hit with bizarre bad news as it's revealed that the hideous 16-foot clock he has outside of Trump Tower in New York City was erected without the city's permission — and now they're coming knocking.
The large black and gold clock — which has the last name Trump emblazoned on all four sides — was put in twelve years ago but Trump and his minions never bothered to get the proper permit.

Trump was clearly twisting American foreign policy into dark knots to line his own pockets. His loyalty has always been first and foremost to his wallet.
CREW describes the $9.6 million from Middle Eastern countries as "just the tip of the iceberg" and said that numerous conflicts of interests are not present on Trump's tax returns.
"As the 2024 election creeps closer, foreign interests including those in the Middle East are already buying access to Trump and pouring money into his pockets," CREW warned.
It's time for the Justice Department to open a sweeping investigation into the blatant bribery Trump sucked up during his time as president. There is another indictment just waiting to be discovered.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gets humiliating news as Sheriff Patrick Labat of Fulton County, Georgia announces his plans to mugshot him like a common criminal if District Attorney Fani Willis indicts him — so far Trump has managed to avoid a mugshot.
Speaking to The New York Times, Labat said that Trump will not receive any special treatment if he's charged with a crime and the police will follow "normal practices" unless "someone tells me differently."
