Lee Hojung’s interview | 07.12.2025

“After I debuted as an actor, in the beginning I didn’t know anything and just went into projects. I still have a lot of regrets. Because the regret is that big, I will put everything into the opportunities I am given now.”

Lee Hojung mentioned that JTBC’s Nevertheless which aired in 2021, played a key role in growing her dream of becoming an actor. She said, “I appeared in my first project in 2016, but the one I feel I did properly was Nevertheless. My mindset changed from that point on.”

Up to then, she had not often worked with people her own age and Nevertheless felt especially comfortable because the cast members were around the same age. Lee Hojung smiled and said, “Maybe because the atmosphere on set was good, I had a great time and even now, four years later, it remains a project I’m fond of.”

So actually, at the beginning of this part (which isn’t in this clip), Sohee mentioned that she got a call from her grandma before the fan meeting started and that her grandma isn’t feeling very well. (That’s why she seems a bit emotional…😢)
