He says that AI must have good values...

I feel that he is getting close to the precipice when he realizes that is not AI values but human values that need evolving.

He talks of machines that produce infinitely and therefore money is not needed...

He speaks of Universal high Income... which is wonderful in intent. But for me that is not consitent with how the privileged corner all of the financial outcomes such that the masses are still in want. "The K will become virtually a vertical line"

More truth to you @elonmusk .. you are the hope even in rare areas where you are not the last word !

In terms of how humans are influenced.. Palantir may be using assertiveness... but assertiveness comes with limitations...

The onus of compliance is on the influencer not the influenced.

This may impact how long the solutions remain Coherent after Palantir exits

Palantir’s Ontology is powerful because it makes the real operating system of an enterprise visible and executable.

But there may be a next frontier:

If the digital ontology reveals how value actually flows, shouldn’t organization design also evolve around those value flows?

Otherwise, enterprises risk having:

• a process-based decision system
• being modulate by a function / BU ased power system

That creates digital coherence without organizational coherence. It will collapse once the spotlight moves away.

The question is not only whether AI can reason and act through the enterprise.

The deeper question is:

Has the enterprise redesigned authority, roles, incentives, capabilities and rewards around the operating reality the Ontology has revealed?

Palantir may be building the executable ontology of work.

The next breakthrough may be building the executable organization around that ontology.

@elonmusk Huge admirer, Elon. The world admires your capabilities (as do I), but I’m an even bigger fan of your intention: to preserve consciousness and the vitality of life.

...and now the “grand plan” is emerging. I’m not sure whether by enlightened iteration or deliberate design, but it is.

Just one question: while you’re dancing around the periphery with spaceships, robots, and cars that can operate on any planet, how are you addressing the entity at the centre of it all—the human?

Do you not need to understand the human (the current bearer of consciousness) with greater nuance than machines and systems? Neuralink and Grok are fair attempts, but are we just skirting the core? What about understanding humans existentially?
