Free Palestine

What I am about to convey is something that I have known before I reverted to Islam, but shamefully, I have not had the courage to say until now. What is happening with Israel/Palestine is nothing short of blatant genocide of the Palestinian people that has been exacerbated since October 7th. The population of Palestinians in the area has been reduced by approximately 350-400 thousand people with a large percentage of this being women and children since October 7th. We as a society have had access to videos of churches, mosques, hospitals, day care centers, and universities in Gaza turned to rubble in the name of fighting Hamas. Including countless children who have been shot multiple times with one child having been subjugated to an entire magazine clip. Imagine if a school shooter kills multiple people at a school and then runs into a children's hospital we all believe that it is the police’s responsibility to capture the shooter while preserving life as much as possible. The police do not drop a bomb on the children’s hospital in order to kill the shooter (not my hypothetical saw it somewhere). We somehow view that to be common sense while we sit across the world, not only complacent but among those who are actively funding the genocide of a nation that has done nothing but resist their oppressors. The school shooter example does not even remotely equate to what is actually happening in Palestine because not only has there been no substantial evidence to support that Hamas is even hiding in hospitals, Hamas situation would much more equate to a victim striking back against a rapist than a school shooter attacking innocents.

“But Hamas captured hostages on October 7th and killed thousands of people” Yes hostages were taken but there is substantial propaganda we have been fed since that day with many claims that still have not been substantiated (ex: there is still 0 proof of the 40 beheaded babies claim), there are multiple reports that Israel had full knowledge that the attacks were coming. The state Israel also initiated the Hannibal directive, which led to loss of life both of Israeli military but civilians as well. There is speculation that October 7th was allowed to take place by the IDF in order to keep Prime Minister Netanyahu in power amongst ongoing court cases as well as justification for a “war” that they will tell you started on October 7th whos victims have been majority women and children. This conflict goes back far beyond October 7th which is something that is unfortunately not common knowledge. I am not an expert by any means but it does not take an expert to look at the history of the conflict and recognize that this conflict began long ago.

In 1881 the population of Palestine was around 450,00 arabs and only 13,000-25,000 jews. They lived together in peace. This was a place where you had jews, christians, and muslims living amongst and with each other with no hatred or animosity. We have been brainwashed to think that Israel’s actions are a result of October 7th. Let me be clear. The Balfour Declaration did not happen because of October 7th. The King David Hotel bombing carried out by the Irgun, a zionist gang, did not happen because of October 7th. The unacceptable two state solution proposed by the UN giving 56% of the land to 1/3 of the population who were mostly comprised of zionist foreigners did not happen because of October 7th. Plan D, a set of orders to prepare for the expulsion of the arab population, did not happen because of October 7th. The Dayr Yasin massacre, a peaceful civilian village, did not happen because of October 7th. The bombings, mortar attacks, and massacre of Haifa civilians did not happen because of October 7th. The multiday massacre and mass displacement of the civilians of Jaffa that resulted in a population of 75,000 Arabs shrinking to 4,100 Arabs did not happen because of October 7th.

Allah guides whom he wills and I am grateful to share that I have reverted to Islam. I believe Ive been submitted to God since I was 18 and my relationship with God was the only reason I made it through 5yr struggle with severe mental health problems. Allah has since been progressively revealing himself and his expectations of me since and this journey has lead me to accepting Islam and Muhammed peace be upon him as the last prophet. I spent my entire life rejecting the Quran and Muhammed pbuh due to substantial anti-islamic bias/programming growing up as an American Christian. I was taught that Islam was completely separate from the Bible and have since learned that it is not separate but a continuation with the last preserved revelation of Allah being the Quran. Not only a continuation but a correction as well due to the Bible being a collection of recordings of the message given by God while the Quran is the literal speech of God. The Bible is a text that we have no original copies of and therefore it is impossible to verify the authenticity of it. The dead sea scrolls are the closest old testament fragments that we have and date 1500 yrs after the time of Moses pbuh while the earliest full collection of the new testament is the Codex Sinaiticus which is around 350 years after the time of the Messiah pbuh written by anonymous authors in a different language than what he spoke. I had believed the gospels were the first hand account of the time of the Messiah’s life because that is what I had been told and I have come to learn that there is zero evidence to support this claim. As a believer in the God of the Bible I felt called to look into Islam without approaching it from the pre determined position of it being false. During this journey I did not want to be a muslim. I was comfortable with where I was at and thought that upon investigation that it would prove false so I could continue on where I was. The more I looked into the Quran the more I realized that it was what it claimed to be, the word of God directly revealed to Muhammed pbuh, which has been preserved in the original Arabic in manuscripts as well as an oral chain dating back to the time of the prophet. A 1400 year game of telephone and the only in the world that has the same preserved message, unchanged from then to now with millions of people around the world with the whole Quran memorized. After looking into the life of the prophet Muhammed pbuh after removing my predisposed negative attitude towards him I came to the conclusion that he was a prophet and there is no other logical conclusion one can come to when investigating this matter with sincerity (my perception, everyone is entitled to their own). A man known for his honesty and fairness turned down everything one could desire in this life in order to spread the message of true monotheism which resulted in years of persecution and hardship. Muhammed pbuh acurately prophesied the fall of the two biggest empires of his time naming both of their last kings, prophesied that the bedouin Arabs would be competing to build the tallest buildings, as well as many more prophecies that prove him to be true. After spending a few weeks as a muslim I can with certainty say that it is the greatest thing in my life and that my islam is what I value the most in this world. Words do not exist to express my gratitude to be on the straight path. If you have read this far Id like to invite you to investigate Islam with sincerity. To take time to understand their side of the story and not just go off what you have been programmed to believe from media. Alhumdulilah for everything.
