I’m going to be cheeky and post the edited story from today’s @Telegraph Sunday paper (there are more details online).
No glossy pictures sadly 😂 but the essence of the story is there. Do spread widely if you can @BoomRadioUK in a fight for its life.
Alfred is a not-for-profit station. Boom is commercial radio. Neither takes a penny from the public purse. Whether you watch the BBC or not, tv owners must pay £170 a year or face jail. The BBC abuses your money to threaten self-funding innovative services like Boom. It's wrong.
Nobody living in a tent on the streets ever looted a pension fund, cut benefits for the disabled, dodged a £3.7m tax bill, sold defective PPE to the NHS or illegally invaded a single country in the Middle East
🧵1/8 Lycamobile, the telecoms giant and Tory donor, has been convicted in France of an “elaborate money laundering system” that was first exposed by our i-team at @BuzzFeedNews. Former CEO Chris Tooley & another executive have been jailed for VAT fraud. https://t.co/lUALRCthHZ
