House of Cardinal Bessarion (Casina Del Cardinal Bessarione)
Bessarion was Byzantine pro-Unionist, Catholic Cardinal, and candidate for the papacy. He was born in Trabzon in 1403, educated by Gemistos Plethon and others in Mystras and Constantinople, and died in Ravenna in 1472
