@pattonoswalt@Kanopy Saw this in school film club in 2nd year Secondary (7th grade), and I still remember it.
We also watched (off the top of my head) Barbarella and The Hill (1965 with Sean Connery). Not sure if the teacher was trying to scar us or just get movies he wanted to see.
@metron2001@_HououjiFuu_@straczynski The use of the word Belgium as the ultimate swear word was originally in the radio series (Fit the Tenth) when Zaphod is hanging onto the lip of the giant nutrimatic cup, five miles up, trying to persuade Ford to help him.
@SarahAnneWrites Take both with a grain of salt.
Examine what threw the eviscerator out of the script (assuming their review was coherent), and see if you can use that to improve it. But if you're happy then thank them and move on.
Just be careful you are not holding too tight to a "darling".
@MitchBenn Indeed, this reads like the Telegraph trying to spread the non-Tory vote out and dilute its effect.
I much prefer a Tactical voting site like https://t.co/kEFxlVN8b6
@ColleenDoran I would also second the recommendation of BBC Sounds. There is also a website Fourble (.co.uk) which provides redirects to a lot of the shows and provides them as podcasts. Including:
- Sherlock Holmes
- Star Wars (original)
- Voyage (alt history SF)
- Lord of the Rings
@ColleenDoran Only Murders in the Building - Comedy Drama (Disney+)
Mythic Quest - Comedy (Apple TV+)
Schimigadoon - Musical Comedy/Parody (Apple TV+)
Ted Lasso - Comedy (Apple TV+)
RoboDoc, Story of Nintendo - Documentaries (Amazon)
Kim Possible, Molly McGee, Owl House - Cartoons (Disney TV+)
@Alan_McWhan@RadioTimes@RichardNJames Moonbase 3
Star Cops
The Survivors
Sapphire and Steel (it was SciFi under Clarke's Law)
Red Dwarf
Also the "Trek" model was actually based upon Wagon Train and earlier shows (and Roddenberry sold it to the studios as such).
@InevitablyBill Even if they weren't used for Scratch, I suspect these helped define the visuals for the ghosts in general. These are really inspiring.
@ecampbelldammit@bram_kawa I believe you're right.
The composition seems cleaner, and the title/credits are better integrated in the UK version. The image in the US poster has been cut up to fit in that ugly block of sans serif.
