Giving weak female MCs a pass to boost DHH is sloppy. Art ainโt about gender checks. Raftaar glossing over femcees mistakes to empower females in DHH is like beefing with emiway which might push the scene, but in a really wrong way. Both have their pros and cons.
@Its_Badshah C'mon Badshah bhai not you again please. This was supposed to be our show. Stop covering pop under hip hop. This is some sher ki khaal me bhediya type shii.
@TheDhhPod I understand but that's really not a big task. It was a proper team issue because now they quickly started uploading all videos when I called out last night. It might look like a small thing but such small moves make a big difference.
The Legacy India team is moving way too slow. They still haven't uploaded all the selected contestants performances. No proper promos, no solo performances on YouTube either. It's a team issue, and that's another reason why the show feels disappointing unprofessional.
@mathrizzler Bhai audition ki baat nhi hai. I'm pointing out the unprofessionalism in work. Episode shoot ho rakha hai already. Editing is also done. Promos aur individual performances out karne me kitna time lgta hai? Khud hi apni hype kharab kar rahe hain.
@pushh_shh Bhai that's a very basic task. Ki Episode out hone ke baad saare promos out ho jaaye and videos live ho jaaye. Ye sab episode out hone se pehle ho jata hai. it's not a big deal. Last night i called so they quickly started airing all the videos that was necessary.
Honest opinion on #Legacy
The show feels empty. I know it's auditions, but the energy is missing. The contestants haven't impressed much except a few. It also feels like many were handpicked over actual entries. TBH, it's not living up to my expectations so far.
You can clearly see how badly Hustle has influenced the culture. What's wrong with most of the contestants here? I know a few of them personally, and I know how good they actually are. But the shit they're performing here doesn't even come close to what they're capable of.

Indian hip-hop just had another global breakthrough. A raw cypher from Navi Mumbai, led by Rare 78, has gone viral worldwide, racking up millions of views and even earning a reshare from Cardi B. It's another reminder that Indian artists are no longer waiting to be discoveredโthe world is discovering them.
The cypher didn't go viral because of a massive budget or marketing push. It went viral because it felt real. The raw street energy, unfiltered chemistry, local slang, and authentic vibe made it impossible to ignore. People connected with the culture first, and the music followed.
If you're an independent artist dreaming of a global audience, stop chasing validation and start building identity. The internet doesn't reward perfection it rewards authenticity. Most of the international audience doesn't even know about the Indian Hip Hop scene, so it's an equal opportunity for all.
Will you let this opportunity pass or grab it?
