Saying “Arsenal will win the league not because they’re worthy, but because every other team failed” is one of the laziest takes in football.
You don’t accidentally lead the league.
You don’t accidentally stay there.
And you definitely don’t accidentally beat everyone else over 38 games.
Arsenal are top because they are winning football matches. That’s literally the only currency that matters in a title race.
Every season, people love to shift blame:
Chelsea “aren’t ready”,
City “aren’t themselves”,
United “are rebuilding”,
Liverpool “are inconsistent”.
Funny how all these excuses magically appear only when their favorite teams aren’t doing well.
If everyone else is “not good enough”, then Arsenal are clearly the best. Football doesn’t hand out sympathy points for reputation, history, or transfer fees. You get three points for winning. Arsenal have been collecting those points consistently while others drop them.
And you can’t downplay it when other so-called giants had the same fixtures and failed.
Arsenal didn’t ask Chelsea to lose.
They didn’t force City to drop points.
They didn’t tell United to self-destruct or Liverpool to be inconsistent.
They simply did their job: win games.
That’s what champions do.
If Arsenal finish top, it won’t be because the world failed, it’ll be because they were the most consistent, the most disciplined, and the most ruthless when it mattered.
The league table doesn’t lie.
Excuses do.
Wonderful. This is commendable.
Now... Dear @URAuganda, do we have Pay As You Earn (PAYE) & local service tax returns from 50,000 factories for 1.2m Ugandans?
Dear @nssfug , do we have all these 1.2m having their monthly retirement remittances made?
How do we go about this?
