After wanting to for a while I've finally started a Substack to begin properly writing film reviews on. I'll be posting reviews on not only brand-new film releases but also classic films and series'. https://t.co/y3Jav4RUX5
I've post my Odyssey review from June to begin.
Misty Green was a pretty fun self destructive character study with a great cast. Chris Rock’s directing is fine but the film felt like every time you bought into something with it, it fully switched up on you every time also it was fun seeing Kaluuya on the big screen again. #lff
In complete and utter awe at the scale and emotions this film let me with. Easily contender for best film of the years my favourite of the festival so far.
Go see it as soon as you can. #LFF
Artificial — the most timely film of 2026 is a scathing caricature of the Silicon Valley tech bro think tank, that takes huge swings at Sam Altman and Elon Musk and lands them pretty damn effectively. It’s viciously entertaining and held together by one of the year’s strongest ensemble casts. Guadagnino’s overt stylization fits this world perfectly, it’s up there as one of his best. FEAR THE AGI! #LFF
