Fresh off helping @FSUBaseball to Omaha, McGwire Holbrook (@mcgwireh25) is making some serious strides in the @mlbdraftleague this summer.

Holbrook employed an aggressive approach with the Seminoles in 2024, often swinging at pitches in the strike zone and frequently putting the ball in play to avoid strikeouts. That resulted in him hitting .268 in 92 plate appearances.

This summer with the @crosscutters, the catcher has been more selective, lowering his Z-Swing% by about 11%. The new approach is clearly working for him (1.030 OPS in 64 PA), and he should be able to sustain this success through the rest of the summer!
