Reading the work of some fab Indian scholars re the ‘urban’ and a bit taken aback by the citational practices when it comes to referring to ‘other’ scholarly work on urban South Asia: it’s by default (maybe design?) all on India! And the only citation on Pakistan is incorrect! 🤦🏻♀️
