The statements made in court by the foreign women alleging kidnapping and rape in the Lahore case are nothing short of shocking and deeply disturbing. The level of criminality and perverse behaviour described in their testimonies is alarming. Given the reported close relationship between at least one of the accused and senior leaders of the governing party, it is imperative that the investigation be transferred to the relevant federal agencies. If this case does not warrant a joint investigation, it is difficult to imagine what would. A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) should be constituted without further delay.

Shameful and deeply disappointing. I had hoped that after Humaira Qamar stepped down, the partisan mindset within APPNA would begin to fade. I also believe Dr. Babar Rao is a better person.

Defacing Imran Khan’s 1992 World Cup photograph at a national forum is a disgraceful act. Every other photograph has been left untouched, yet only Imran Khan’s image was singled out. This is not just disrespect toward one individual—it is an insult to Pakistan and its national identity.

Will the doctors of APPNA really accept such pettiness? This is shameful. APPNA’s members must speak out against this disgraceful act. It is an insult to your collective conscience, your knowledge, your intellect, your integrity, and the dignity and values of the nation.

The 1992 World Cup is not a political symbol. It is a proud chapter in Pakistan’s history. Treating a national hero in this manner is something only small-minded people would do.
