The daughter of a Delhi Police Sub-Inspector injured during the clashes between police and CJP protesters has shared her family's account of the incident.

She recalls the night her father returned home with head injuries, the emotional toll on their family.

The passing of the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 by both Houses is a step-forward towards ensuring the integrity, transparency and credibility of India's public examination system.

Prime Minister @narendramodi in a video message urges people to guide the misguided, says abuses never solve anything

PM called upon people to guide those who have gone astray. Referring to the incident at Jantar Mantar, PM said that the country and the world witnessed the use of abusive language against him and even his late mother. While the anger in society over such conduct is understandable, childhood is also a time when mistakes are made and there is an opportunity to learn and reform.

PM further stated that instead of punishing such misguided children, dragging them through courts or subjecting them to social harassment, society should embrace them and show them the right path. He said that he wants to forgive them and appealed to society to accept this sentiment.

"The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has said that abuses never solve anything and called upon people to guide those who have gone astray.

Referring to the incident at Jantar Mantar, the Prime Minister said that the country and the world witnessed the use of abusive language against him and even his late mother.
