4-6 last week. 47-23 on the year since this began a few weeks in. 10 games straight up.
This week's picks.
LSU > Arkansas
IL > Purdue
Liberty > UConn
UCF > Tulane
Clemson > Ville
Bama > Ole Miss
Oregon > UDub
UGa > MSU
Texas > TCU
FSU > Cuse
Another tough slate IMO.
@chifanpatt2 Again, regression to the mean. Better players = better results. Illinois has been the worst power 5 team in the nation over the last 30 years. IN THE NATION. This is a big step forward. Appreciate it.
So I wanted to see just how bad UGa is at hoops this year given they went 1-17 in SEC play last year. It's halftime at Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons are supposed to be middle of the pack in the ACC. They lead by TWENTY at the half. UGa is AWFUL.
@angryvietdragon @ShaanVP@cz_binance There is no anti-trust issue here.
But agreed. It is horrible for his "industry" if he lets this thing go under. HORRIBLE. Has to think long-term.
@aaronsnearly@MJMcElwee@PaulCharchian Abbott just won re-election by 11 points. To put that in perspective the GOP ran a Covid anti-vax freak in Minnesota (the capital of the medical device industry and two world class research hospitals) and lost by 8 points.
@aaronsnearly@MJMcElwee@PaulCharchian The # of folks moving to FL bc of the tax/business climate is astounding. Ditto Texas. That's part of it. People hate to hear the words "trickle down" but massive wealth movements do have ripple effects. Latinos do tend to be more conservative socially. But yeah, learn.
@aaronsnearly@MJMcElwee@PaulCharchian I think rather than chalking it up to crazy we should be asking "why"? Florida isn't a monolith. It's one of the most diverse, if not the most diverse, states in the nation when you account for ethnic, political, economic, age differences among residents.
@aaronsnearly@MJMcElwee@PaulCharchian To win Miami, EASILY. I mean, whoa. Not saying he could win nationally. But he won the state EASILY. That has to be dissected and understood.
@aaronsnearly@MJMcElwee@PaulCharchian Abortion was an issue in these midterms primarily in the sense we had candidates on both sides totally out of line with public opinion (see Abrams in GA and someone like the GOP candidate in MN).
Zoom out people. Worth a listen. Far more detailed takes worth hearing from this guy as well on what we are witnessing politically.
