@PeteWishart The stupidity in this statement. Consuming oil and gas produces CO2, drilling oil does not. Transporting oil to refineries next to the oil source produces less CO2 than transporting it half-way round the world. It really is that simple.

The reason I ask is that the more violent a society, then it is normal for the rape rate to be higher too, whereas you state this is untrue.
