Made a huge mistake by ordering from blinkit today
First they delivered the wrong parcel, then the customer care said the item you ordered isn’t in stock, then the delivery person comes and exchanges the parcel with the right item, now the delivery agent wants me to refund him.

Random fact: Lincoln's first VP wasn't Andrew Johnson. It was a guy named Hannibal Hamlin from Maine. Hardcore abolitionist, the real kind. So consistently anti-slavery that Southern papers used to spread rumors he was secretly part Black because they couldn't process it.
Lincoln dropped him in 1864 to balance the ticket with a Southern Democrat. That was Andrew Johnson. Six weeks after the inauguration, Lincoln got shot. Johnson became president and proceeded to gut Reconstruction.
If Hamlin had stayed on, the next century of American race relations probably looks completely different.
Anyway. He died in 1891 playing cards at a club in Bangor, Maine. Mostly forgotten.

On August 27, 1896, Britain bombarded the Sultan's palace in Zanzibar after a succession dispute. The Sultan surrendered before 9:45am.

~500 Zanzibari soldiers killed. British: one sailor wounded.

By lunchtime, the war was over.
