2 Athletes can have the same training, coaches and competition and end the season as champions or chumps
What differentiates them is mindset.
Reality is great coaching doesn’t always show up in the wins column.
But… On God, it will result in better men and and women. Bet it can influence communities, inspire growth and change, and foster leaders.
Coaches and athletes should be very clear that weight training is a method to supplement shot put training and is not a separate sport or discipline.

Coaches at every level should spend time developing youth athletes periodically. Sharpening your skills in simple communication, demonstrating and fundamentals will allow you to deliver more complex concepts in a concise manner to a more mature audience
You can do anything you set your mind to… period. If the vision was given to you by God. Which all dreams are. It is meant to be yours.

Procrastination is what kills any dream
Without a plan and a sense of urgency to execute the step to each plan the dream is delayed. Your success is delayed
Stop delaying what is owed to you!

Depression is the emotion of being stressed about yesterday.
The key is to be completely satisfied with what you have done today so nothing is left for tomorrow!

A dehydrated athlete will run the risk of making stupid decisions in play due to decreased cognitive function.
This doesn’t just apply to athletes
Losing 2% of the water in your body (mild), can impair your cognitive performance, attentiveness and short-term memory
Culture Buy In
When the team agrees with the mission, the teams behaviors align instinctively vs instructively. Momentum is created. the team is more receptive to leadership’s influence. The community and team can now believe and trust the process.
Planning
The vision marks x on the map and leadership then devises a plan to reach the end results. Coaching Personnel, Athletes Responsibility, Skill Development, Scheduling, Education and Training, Recruitment and Support Resources are all pillars of a good plan.
Vision
The direction any program is going to head in is based on the vision. Leaders have a clear standard of what success would look like long term which then determines the short term goals.
Leadership
When building a winning program, leadership has to create a vivid vision the team or community can identify with. This vision has to be realistic but just out of reach to stretch the team’s abilities.
