@Pliam_ 🤔🤔😭
Dear Lord continue to protect @SamMugumya
🙏🙏
Innocent man abducted by the shameless evil ruthless regime last year in August under the orders of umusaza umuhungu and their dynasty
Lest we forget, in the immediate aftermath of the 2021 Presidential Elections charade and amidst the new life of a FaceBook ban, on 24 January 2021, I published, on social media, an open letter to the management of @nbstv and gave my mind (frames 1 to 3).
Three days later, on 27 January 2021, the President of the @NUP_Ug , Hon. @HEBobiwine followed suit and also wrote to @nbstv (frame 4). I do not remember what the response of NBS was, but it seems both or one of the parties took this feud beyond the election period.
In recent memory, I saw @HEBobiwine being hosted in the studios of NBS at around the time they were launching one of their commercial platforms. This was a grave miscalculation on his part. It meant that @KKariisa and team had demystified him. I don’t want to fault @HEBobiwine individually, but his handlers failed him on this.
A Presidential contender that is capable of giving a seasoned ‘dictator’ a bloody nose in an election is supposed to be above appearing in TV studios no matter who the TV thinks they are. You gotta make that political brand count bwana!! If NBS TV wants an exclusive, they ought to come and set up at your residence and you conduct the interview there. Since 2007, did you ever see the late Rt.Hon. Raila Odinga visiting any TV studios (including @citizentvkenya )? They always went to him! Make the brand count!
In 2025, I have been hosted on NBS several times. Do I think that the station treats NUP and its President fairly? NO. Do I think that NUP should boycott NBS? NO. While I am not a fan, strategist nor member of NUP, whenever I feel that the journos from NBS are being unfair to NUP in their questioning, I hit back and defend NUP and its Presidential candidate. That is just me being me - a centrist par excellence. I must commend NBS for the opportunity. They have never told me to attack or defend any party or candidate nor tried to persuade me into pushing any particular narrative. They only invite me where they think that I will add value to the conversation and I believe they may even receive warnings from the belligerent regulator about some of my submissions (that is if they have not already received them).
NUP must understand that as a corporate citizen, Next Media Group has a right to have a skewed editorial policy and it is up to NUP to get the lemons and make lemonade. Your Party must sit down and craft a counter strategy. You must prepare your candidates and propagandists to take on the NBS journos in a manner of aura for aura until both parties either meet somewhere or the station chooses to exclude you! The politicians ought to maintain high ground and not exhibit cowardice. How do you convince us to elect cowards into National leadership?
While excreta attracts houseflies, bees are attracted to nectar. I beseech the NUP leadership to focus on the latter and look at the sharp focus from Next Media Group as the allure of nectar to bees! Make it count!
My two cents…

We have been massively welcomed in Bushenyi town where we held our rally at Bushenyi stadium. We preached our gospel of the protest vote and left the masses convinced that they have an equal stake in freeing our country from repressive rule. Mwebare munonga abantu ba Bushenyi. Thank you for that resounding statement!

Have you seen the headline on The Star today? ...so, Uganda's President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has issued a threat to Kenya. He has warned that wars could break out because landlocked Uganda needs the Indian Ocean. Then apparently, his son awaits a go-ahead to attack...
Dear Kenyans ...one word for Museveni, tafadhali?

A short plea to Gen. Museveni - RELEASE THE 18 MISSING NUP SUPPORTERS, RELEASE SAM MUGUMYA!
You have finally released our Kenyan brothers, Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo! The police denied holding them. The army denied holding them. The Attorney General denied their existence in any detention facility in Uganda. The judiciary covered up, saying that any further demand for their production would be akin to squeezing blood from a stone: "I find that one can not squeeze blood from a stone. The state can only produce what it has." The judge ruled.
And then you, Gen. Museveni came out and confirmed what we all knew. "We arrested them because they are experts in riots and are associated with Kyagulanyi's group!" You said this following their release - after 39 days of incommunicado detention. No one was allowed to access them during this period. Not their family members. Not their lawyers. Not their medical personnel. In violation of every constitutional principle, they were just kept away, tortured, and interrogated - until you decided that it was time to release them and send them back to Kenya.
Now, these same denials have been made by the police, the army, the UHRC and the courts about the missing 18 NUP supporters, even when most of them were picked up by security operatives in broad daylight between 2019 and 2021. Similar denials have been made about Sam Mugumya who was picked up by military personnel in the presence of many onlookers.
Here is my single plea. You have made your point. Everyone in Uganda and East Africa now knows how ruthless you are. Everyone knows that you're capable of disappearing people for weeks, months, or years on end. Everyone now knows that neither the police nor the judiciary will protect them from the powerful fangs of a criminal state.
Unlike our Kenyan brothers, these missing Ugandans do not have a foreign country to pressurise your regime. They are ordinary Ugandans - whose lives have been put on a halt for all these years.
The point has been made. Now, please release these 18 Ugandans. Release Sam Mugumya. Let them go and have a life!
