Sad. One of my favourite and most impactful profs. He cared deeply, taught well and often talked about his family. I saw him a few years ago and am so glad I thanked him for his impact. My condolences to you @DuaneBratt his family & all those who are better for learning from him.

It is with deep sadness that I relay the news of the passing of David Taras. A great colleague and dear friend. While we knew each other when he was at UofC, it was only when he crossed the river to MRU that we began actively collaborating.
