In an interview with the Danish newspaper Berlingske, Denmark’s former foreign minister Per Stig Møller recounts a highly compromising story about the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Navi Pillay.
In 2008, when Denmark faced problems in Pakistan (a car bomb exploded outside the embassy) because of the Muhammad cartoons, Denmark turned to the UN - including the then High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay.
On that occasion Pillay was completely dismissive of supporting Denmark. Her only recommendation to the foreign minister was to introduce censorship. That, she said, would prevent the problem in the future.
I find it shocking that an opponent of freedom of speech can be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
My father, Elie Wiesel, received the Nobel Peace Prize for ensuring the Holocaust wouldn’t be forgotten. By honoring Navi Pillay, who accused Israel of genocide, the committee has betrayed his legacy. https://t.co/Bt9xzSJ8xX
I'm still writing my analysis of the propaganda film masquerading as a documentary in NAZA, but in the meantime, I recommend watching this documentary which (like a documentary should) explains in detail, with no gaps, lies by commission, or agenda the Hamas practice of human shielding in Gaza. https://t.co/HUh7wiPIXj
There is a painful irony in being on this panel in Israel on 8 October. On this day three years ago, I began to realise that the global feminist movement I had believed in would fall silent on the sexual violence committed by Hamas.
Today, I am here because solidarity that abandons Jewish women is a betrayal of everything feminism claims to stand for.
I will never forget hearing from some of the first responders who came to speak in Parliament. Chilling reports of the unbelievable evil carried out, especially to women's bodies, and the compassionate care taken by those tasked with identifying victims.
MPs always have mutiple conflicting committments, but my friend @KemiBadenoch and I stayed for the whole event. Incredibly difficult but necessary. #7October.
My husband has been in @TheGreenParty for 45 years & I have been in for nearly 30. Today we cancel our direct debit & leave. The rot started with “Transwomen are women, no debate “. Now it is an anti semitic, pro nuclear power party. Not a Green Party.
Lubna Speitan, the Green Party activist who co-sponsored the “Zionism is racism” motion and is a close friend of an al-Qaeda terrorist, called for synagogues to be “surrounded.”
That followed her demand that Zionists (Jews) be “hunted” worldwide.
This is incitement. Arrest her.
not an easy watch. Even a fictionalised "cleaned up" version. This was the reality. So many of them died reaching out to those they loved, while their executioners rang their families to glory in how many Jews they had slaughtered and broadcast it online. I was online here, I saw it.
There is no moral equivalence. None at all.
May their memories be a blessing.
Today the Hitler Youth will be out on the streets celebrating a massacre of people the same age as them three years ago.
These modern Nazis chose this date to hurt Jews. Rub our faces in it.
Don’t feel the pain they want you to feel. Here’s why:-
In one of the concentration camps a Jew fell to his knees. “Why are you praying?” asked a fellow camp captive. “God has deserted us! What point is there in praying now?” To which came the reply:-
“I’m thanking God I’m not like them!”
Be thankful you’re not the kind of person who openly cheers mutilation, rape, torture and murder of beautiful young people at a peaceful music festival.
Pity today’s Hitler Youth for their black hearts and evil souls. Thank your God - as you know him - that you’re not like them.
Tomorrow they’ll still be them. And you’ll still be you.
"The silence and then the trickling antisemitism growing into a tsunami of Jew hate from so-called feminist friends has shocked me to the core.
The scales have dropped from my eyes. There is clarity now. I see them for what they really are. It’s hard to lose friends. To no longer talk about politics over cups of tea, thinking we were fighting for feminism together. Well, we weren’t, and October 7th proved that.
Non-Jewish women like me stand with our Jewish sisters and hold feminism accountable for its failure."

May their memories be a blessing. Those of us who happened to be online on Oct 7th 2023, and saw the footage Hamas was streaming of its own atrocities cannot be gaslit into thinking this was "resistance" in any form. - The sheer joy being expressed by those who brutally tortured whole families and massacred children in a kindergarten is Jew hatred in its purest form. The late chief Rabbi, Jonathan Sacks, called Antisemitism a mutating virus, The Green party this weekend demonstrated that perfectly.
The Greens want you to vote for a motion that supports ‘armed resistance’ by Hamas and their followers, by ‘all available means’.
We know that that means for women 👇👇
Do not vote for this motion. Expose the hated for what it is.
This story has broken me. It has unleashed a rage so strong I can barely express it, but allow me to try.
Above all, I am angry with the decades-long malevolent incompetence of the British state: politicians of all parties, the judiciary, the civil service. Their collective uselessness has shattered the social contract and made us all poorer and less safe. In just 25 years, they have led us from an affluent, high-trust society to a broken, low-trust one.
I am sickened by the growth in sectarian politics. I am appalled by the foreign ghettos in our cities and imported, bent voting practices and resultant corruption in some of our councils. I hate seeing the clothing of female oppression on our streets. I am sickened by the fact our Jewish community lives under siege.
I no longer wish to pay tax to support those who have come here illegally and should be removed immediately. It is to our shame that we have accepted mass immigration without insisting on integration. I am tired of being told that a British passport makes a foreigner as British as me. I assure you that the “British citizen” in this story is not. I am saddened that for so many people, the concept of “British” is essentially meaningless.
I am sick of the obsession with a minor war 2,500 miles away that barely affects us. I despise that £88m of our tax money is going to Hamas (because it will), when the tax burden is a record high, everything is expensive, welfare spending is out of control and we can’t even pay for our own defences when the global risk of conflict is the highest it has been since the end of the Cold War. And in spite of how much of our money the government steals from our pockets, nothing, at all, in this country works. Healthcare, transport, education - all broken.
It is a stain on our national politics that we have five Gaza MPs. It is our national shame that our government is intent on sucking up to the Palestinian entity which contains some of the worst monsters on the face of planet. It is a disgrace that our Foreign Secretary shook the hand of the representative of the Iranian regime that has slaughtered tens of thousands of its own people, and that he doesn’t seem to understand why that photograph will damn him forever. It is embarrassing that we had a Foreign Office minister dancing with and hugging the representative of the Palestinian Authority. The lack of serious statesmanship is mind-boggling and indicative of how far we have fallen.
They say the past is a foreign country, but my goodness, do I miss the country I grew up in. I feel so sorry for the generation that grew up after 2000 and will never know how good it was. It’s not coming back.
I have no time for the demagogues and grifters who exploit this anger. I know other people feel the same as I do, and my goodness, do I understand why people are angry. For decades, those we have elected to govern in our interests have instead run our country into the ground.
And to cap it all, now we are led by fatuous, asinine, deeply unserious airheads who think serious governance is a TikTok video about pork scratchings, as the last vestiges of a coherent society die under the weight of their malignant frivolity.
The worst part of it is that there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it. I just want to live in a happy, stable, prosperous country like we used to be, instead of one that is run by a state apparatus that does nothing but beat us down, obsess over irrelevances, take our money, and leave us poorer and less safe.
