@kmartyn5 @MTW2478 They are only payed take off to landing. They have a report time where they HAVE to be at work but they are not paid. This is for safety checks, boarding and deplaning- all unpaid!

I find it astonishing that Air Canada Flight Attendants have not been being paid for work they do before & after the flight is in the air. I read it equals 35 to 40 hours per month (?). That’s a full week’s pay if true. How many hourly employees would do that? Is it all airlines?

@Saffronian @MTW2478 They aren’t waiters/waitresses, they’re trained in emergency situations and advanced first aid. They do safety checks on the plane before the flights. I would love for them to be paid while they’re making sure the plane is safe to fly!

Ontario is a hopelessly corrupt province and the Ford government is the chief culprit.

The Greenbelt scandal ought to bring down the government -- and then some. There must be serious consequences for those involved in this utter, massive, disaster.
