Matt Walsh reveals that White Performers have been removed from the Super Bowl halftime show on purpose

“7 years and counting since the NFL allowed a white person to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. And when you're talking about a sport where the fan base is roughly 70% white, there's only one way to understand that decision. It is a deliberate effort by the NFL and Jay-Z, whose company Roc Nation has run the halftime show since 2019, to exclude white people from participating in the single most watched musical performance of the year.

Now, in previous decades, you'd have Prince perform one year and then Tom Petty the next. You'd have Aerosmith and The Who, and then you'd have the Black Eyed Peas.

But starting precisely the same year that Jay-Z took over the halftime show in 2019, whites have been banned from headlining, and they've been replaced in many cases by non-white rappers who can barely speak English. Of course, they sexualize the whole thing, and in general, they reduce what used to be a significant American cultural event to a trashy, unwatchable display.

And in fact, since 2019, over 7 years, there's only been one white headliner in that time, and that was Eminem, who performed alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar and a bunch of other Black artists. Aside from that, there have been zero white headliners at the Super Bowl since 2019.”

He’s right, here’s a list of performances:

- 2025: Kendrick Lamar (solo, Black)
- 2024: Usher (solo, Black)
- 2023: Rihanna (solo, Black)
- 2022: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar (group, mostly Black; Eminem white but not solo)
- 2021: The Weeknd (solo, Black)
- 2020: Jennifer Lopez & Shakira (Latin artists; Shakira has white ancestry but presented as Latina)
- 2019: Maroon 5 (led by Adam Levine, white) + Travis Scott + Big Boi

So he’s off by one year, but still very telling….

Pre-2019 examples:

- 2017: Lady Gaga (white, solo)
- 2016: Coldplay + Beyoncé + Bruno Mars

Ma’am, I watched your testimony the other day. I watched you laugh when the “safe and effective” line came up.
As a paramedic with decades on the job, I don’t deal in BS theater. I deal with reality on the ambulance cot every shift.
These last few years have been a straight up nightmare. I’m seeing sudden cardiac events, strokes, aggressive cancers in younger patients, record numbers of sepsis, unusual seizures and more aortic dissections than ever before… these aggressive patterns I didn’t see prior to the COVID shots, at this scale. Just before writing this I ran another stroke call. I see the common threads across hundreds of calls since the mandates rolled out.
When you laughed, it wasn’t abstract. It wasn’t funny haha… It was a slap that landed on the face of every patient we’ve coded, every grandparent we’ve transported, every young person now facing life and death health struggles they shouldn’t.
Frontline medics like me are connecting the obvious dots while too many in charge seem bound and determined not to. We’ve become a nation hesitant to ask the hard questions if it threatens the pharmaceutical narrative.
You may think the script holds. But the evidence is walking into every ER in America. It’s being cared for in the back of each ambulance. The “emergency” isn’t funny, and it’s not going away.
