The stress/time I give to toxic people is time im taking away from my family ,my art, my business and my tribe . Time I’m taking away from people who KNOW how to love me properly. Grace,patience and time are resources that are finite - like money . So yeah….budget accordingly

It’s also important to accept people for who they are and it’s not fair to expect them to change on your timeline. Not in a nihilistic way but in a pragmatic way. Like “I love you but I need to love you from afar” Love can be infinite but time is not .

probably the most important thing i’ve learned in the last couple years is that stupid people cause as much damage as evil people . You can be a great person but if your coping mechanisms are toxic then the end result is toxic .

Recently I’ve been really thinking about impact vs intent . When I was younger it was a lot easier to spot who didn’t belong in my life. It was easy to categorize things in the matter of good vs bad. These days it’s harder. I’ve had to cut off better and better people
