Yep, Twitter killed third party clients and I'm not willing to put up with the official app.

Twitter may have killed their third party app API. If that is the case it is unlikely you will see me here more than a couple of times a year.

Mastodon is a little confusing to get started with but feels like an updated version of what Twitter used to be.

I sometimes wish there was a secret handshake to bypass tier 1 tech support. Nothing against tier 1 folks but it's extremely unlikely we can do anything except waste each other's time.

@TheBloggess my wife and I were fortunate that we were able to pay off nearly 100k in student loans over ~10 years. It was a giant strain on finances during the time when that was a real bummer.

Nobody else should need to go through that. Forgiving student loans is the right call.
