@missmasonedu Hello Yr5 I’m writing to you from Rochdale in the NW of England, the home of the modern Co-operative movement. The first Co-op store was opened here in 1844.
Hi everyone! I am trying to show my Year 5s how far a message can travel on the Internet. Can you please help by sharing this and commenting where in the world you are reading it from? Thanks 🩷

There's a problem when people state that teachers should use pre-prepared lessons and stop 'reinventing' the wheel. It assumes the wheel can meet the needs of every child. The fact is it can't.
Teachers are educated to create lessons that meet the needs of THEIR pupils.
Last Sunday, the Children's Band played at Symphony Hall Birmingham, as part of a prelude to the Brass Band Gala 2022. A thoughtful occasion due to the sad news of The Queen's passing, the day went well, with the band being led by conductor Duncan Beckley.
Really good day on Monday when I visited the @NYBBGB Children’s Band @tauntonschool Now looking forward to their end of course concert this Friday at 2pm @WellsCathedral1 See you there!
Sadly, curriculum changes, designed to improve UK position in OECD PISA ranking, agreed by politicians that employ people who ‘do’, limited opportunities for students to learn the repair skills. We have become technology rich and time poor.
