You ARE your child first educator. Their first day of school they should already know how to write, read, and count also identify certain animals and objects. Sending them to school unprepared is a failure on your parenting.

This isn't gentle parenting. This is neglect. What you're describing are children who are not getting their basic physical and cognitive needs met, which is a symptom of abuse. Gentle parenting never met not toilet training your kids. It meant not screaming at them for doing it.
He followed the law, due process, habeas corpus rights, didn't send people to foreign concentration camps, and didn't shoot mothers in the head.
