In Istanbul, some friends were singing an old Turkish song “Aman Doktor” in a restaurant.
A Greek man walks up to the table and starts singing the same song in Greek (Greeks and Turks share many old folk songs)
At the end The 2 men showed great respect to eachother🇹🇷🇬🇷❤️

Tomatoes aren’t native to Italy. Limes aren’t native to Mexico.
Cultural exchange built the cuisines we celebrate today. It’s not an exception to human history…it’s the rule.
The term Middle East is outdated and makes people think of flying carpets and genies. However this map of west Asia is accurate and Greeks and Armenians are also native to west Asia. Unless you’re saying we are invaders to west Asia and us losing our land is a good thing because it was never our land to begin with? Like what are you saying?
@justpearthings@JhanteRobbins@bethaninic_ New York New York for old people. New York State of mind too gutter for mass appeal (dope song though) and the rest just no lol.
Empire State of mind is best
To my fellow supporters of 🇵🇸 We are supporting the fight against Palestinian oppression….NOT being anti-Jewish by feeding into stereotypes of Jewish people. This is disgusting. These nice, kind people were trying to help you and refused your money when you “rewarded” them. Here you are trying to make a spectacle of them.
Free Palestine and protect the Jews. Both can be true.
@daveatherton Everyone in the comments hear the woman “he tried to attack me and my kids”. They handled this the right way. Londoners getting together, regardless of ethnicity to protect each other.
So we’ve gone from “foreign settlers” to “foreign settlers thousands of miles away.” That’s called narrowing the criteria after the original claim falls apart aka moving the goal post.
That being said, distance is a strange standard. If migrants travel 300 miles they’re natives, but 2,000 miles and the nation becomes illegitimate? Ok
If mixed ancestry invalidates a nation, the Americas are about to disappear from the map.
Or is it just Turkey that ceases to exist? Explain the rules pal
