Assuming command of the #IndianArmy, General Dhiraj Seth began his tenure by paying solemn homage at the #NationalWarMemorial, honouring the bravehearts whose supreme sacrifice, courage and selfless devotion continue to inspire generations.

‘Honouring the Families of Kargil Heroes’
On the occasion of #KargilVijayDiwas, Rajya Sainik Board, Rajasthan will organise 'Veerangana Samman' at 1500 hrs on 25 Jul 26 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, to honour the Veer Naris and Veer Matas of Rajasthan, whose loved ones made the supreme sacrifice during the #KargilWar.
Lt Gen Mohit Malhotra, #ArmyCdr#SaptaShaktiCommand, will join the esreemed Veterans, distinguished citizens and other dignitaries as the Chief Guest. Under the aegis of #EasternCommand, HQ 51 Sub Area, in collaboration with the #RegionalSainikBoard, #Assam and #AssamRegimentalCentre under #101Area, organised an outreach programme for #VeerNaris and Veeranganas of #Kamrup and #Nalbari districts at #Amingaon.
More than 100 #VeerNaris, Veeranganas and their dependents received assistance on pension-related matters, #SPARSH services, documentation and other welfare issues.

Colonel Sunil Prem (Retd) was honoured for advancing veteran resettlement through skilling, employment and entrepreneurship initiatives, empowering veterans and military families.
Lieutenant Colonel Parveen Kumar Gupta (Retd) was recognised for establishing a veteran-led enterprise that has generated employment and supported the Armed Forces and government organisations.

Under the aegis of #EasternCommand, a Veterans Outreach Team of #TrinityArea from #PunjabRegimentalCentre visited #Dumka, #Deoghar and #Sahibganj to engage with veterans, #VeerNaris and their dependents.
During the outreach, assistance and guidance were provided to more than 500 beneficiaries on pension-related issues, record discrepancies and other welfare matters. The team also assured expeditious resolution of the grievances raised.
The initiative reflects the #IndianArmy's unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of its #Veterans and their families.
