There has to be something big in the works for the Lakers that nobody knows about.. you don’t have the most cap space in the league and let important role players (smart & kennard) walk for no reason. Especially when those players only got $6 mil per year from other teams. Then you have guys like John Collins & Norman Powell signing with other teams while Lakers just sitting on that cap space.
