Thought I’d leave this here. June 19th is World Sickle Cell Day, Sickle Cell is a genetic blood disorder, it is hereditary and can be passed on from Parent to Child. Be sickle aware and know your genotype! #STOPTHESTEREOTYPE and support those affected 1/2
I get this all the time “nduro wulo sosseh” and I will always ask them “what does a mandinka look like” some will go as far as saying “kon maybe sa yaye du sosseh” insinuating my mum probably belongs to the tribe that they have made “superior”
Looking at someone and telling them, “You don’t look Mandinka” or “ Nduru Wuloh Sosseh” isn’t a compliment, neither is it funny tbh. It’s actually a weird thing to say to someone.
My father is urgently in need of cancer treatment, and this fundraiser is just getting started.. Please consider sharing or donating if you can. Every bit of support means a lot during this difficult time. https://t.co/Y8mqLnyb3P
They say that a soul leaves this world when its purpose here is complete.
But no one tells you how empty the world feels when that soul is your mother💔.
Ya Anta you’re forever in my heart🕊️❤️
@jukaliond I think there’s a small shift in Barrow camp “there’s an air of angst/worry”.
I pray the opposition comes together, and unite.
.
I wish one opposition party had a radio station focussed on highlighting the govts mishaps and empowering the masses with information.
