@SheetouK@AChijioke Potiskum cannot feature in isolation in terms of railway infrastructure because it is situated over 50km from the nearest line passing through Askaka to Buni Yadi that's between Gombe and Maiduguri
@SheetouK@AChijioke The Kano - Bornu section may refer to the colonial era nomenclature for Nguru being then in Bornu Province. However there's no other railway link between Kano and Borno since railway construction stopped long before independence
@SheetouK@AChijioke Wrong here. Maiduguri terminates the Eastern railway route. It starts from PH - ABA - Enugu - Makurdi - Heipang (spur to Jos) - Bauchi - Gombe - Maiduguri. West and East lines meet at Kafanchan where locomotives and coaches are routed to their respective routes
@SheetouK@AChijioke Na wa oo 😲
There's no Kano to Maiduguri rail line in existence and I have not heard of any plan to construct one.
There's also no railway line passing through Potiskum; this I'm 100% sure.
Kano - Nguru exists.

@AhmadIA21432134@logicalechoes@Nairametrics Not everywhere in the North East is under Boko Haram insurgency. Gombe to Biu axis has always been peaceful and without incident since the beginning of the insurgency. The thing with all Hi-Tech contracts is they are all negotiated behind closed doors against the procurement act
@BelloAbdwaheed@ogundamisi Not everything about kidnapping is Fulani. They may be the top guns but it's a free enterprise where people, including opportunists are cashing in
@arojinle1 Moving around with guns is highly regulated in Nigeria. I wonder how these people were able to get these guns as non residents without official connivance. Are you sure they are not Nigerian Lebanese residents?
@tunjisteven007@AChijioke Simply go through the post. Some people have posted the current videos and pictures of the ongoing project. A simple Google search will tell you the current status
@Braceyoursef@jamus99@AChijioke Obviously they are not here for the truth. They want to be fed lies so they can keep blaming whoever they want to blame
@SheetouK@AChijioke They don't want the truth hence they'll ignore you. The original post is of the abandoned old narrow gauge rail lines using steel sleepers. The landscape is also completely different from that of Kano to Maradi
