Profits create incentives for companies to lower costs, innovate, become more efficient. Losses weed out the weak, inefficient companies unwilling to adapt to times. We don’t need the govt to save us. We are capable of saving ourselves if the govt would be quit interfering.

Really baffling to me that people can want more govt programs. Look at every govt program- DMV, post office, etc- the most inefficient waste of resources. Then compare that to what Elon Musk has done with the space industry. Privatization works.

This would kill millions of jobs. My 1st job out of college was an engineer running frac jobs. You’d be amazed to see all the hotels, gas stations, restaurants, shops, etc that exist in these tiny oil towns bc of fracking. Its NOT just big oil that would hurt.

Here are my thoughts on masks: in a LAB ENVIRONMENT, we have been told that masks are very effective in preventing the transmission of the virus.

Here’s the catch.

Everyone knows that when scaling up from a lab setting, you will have a greater margin of error.

And to those of you who say “well if everyone would just wear it properly, then it’d work”. While that may be good in theory, it will not work in practice. There are still people out there who don’t know how to wear pants properly.
