@ArgentumFlare @DailyDael You only have 1 of the 3 mainland territories placed correctly (inland lines aren't ideal, but it's not a bad coastline), but you got all the states, if we ignore what you named them. West Australia is correct, that island is Tasmania, and Queensland is a state. Good effort!

@MerricB My experience would be:

Life threatening combats can cause fatigue.
Non-threatening combats can cause boredom.

Too much of anything can be a problem. Anything can fill that gap. Puzzles, politics, exploration... and if you can have 1 fight an adventure, why not let it be bold.

@TheEdVerse If 1 in 8000 of the population are priests, and 1 in 6000 priests are clerics, that's 1 in 48 million people are clerics. Estimating (I think optimistically) the population of the Realms at 100 million... does this mean there are often only 2 clerics active at a time?

@HatchlingDM There are Doctor Who TTRPGs out there and AITAS looks like it sets a high bar to beat, but I'd love to make a new one with some bulletproof time travel rules strung through the very heart of the system. The TARDIS always takes you exactly where you were needed; I'd amplify that.

@OregonRolledA20 I have vague memories of playing a 4e warlock in an online would-have-been campaign, and I think that came first. It was before I really knew how to develop a personality, so the only things I remember about them for sure are:
male
pragmatic
accepting of other people's cultures

@rpgegirl How do you feel about the pf2 oracle mysteries/curses that resemble mental illness, like Ancestors and Lore...

Does the difference in budget and research make it more acceptable? Perhaps that they're tied to hope and power fantasy?

Or are negative mechanics always a mistake?

@macca_the_dm Okay so, first things first: nothing will replace D&D at being D&D. I just don't care for D&D.

I'm always trying new RPGs. Games like Wushu, Blades in the Dark, and octaNe appeal as something fresh.

Cortex Prime is my home system. I love it because it always has an easy answer.

@Warlockdnd Female PC, often. Female NPC, I aim for parity. I only play them as I would male characters with the same ideals and flaws. Gender is something that doesn't matter in D&D in most conditions. I've tried enby NPCs, but those can get awkward queries I don't know how to respond to.
