Back in Phoenix after the incredible Judy Nicholson Kidney Cancer Foundation Symposium in Chicago.

The staff and sponsors put together an outstanding event, and It was great to connect with so many patients, caregivers, clinicians, and advocates all working toward the same goal: better treatments and a cure for kidney cancer.

A special bonus was getting to spend some time with some of my favorite people (Melissa and Greg) while I was there.

I’m glad President trump decided to do the right thing. Populism (the team Marge is on) usually only benefits the politician in the long run. Removing the nuclear weapon from extremist terrorists keeps America safe. It’s reckless and dangerous to allow a government who wants us all dead to have the weapon to carry out our mass murder.

@DrewMoghanaki I’m a relatively new patient. The reading I’ve done has pointed to a hell of a return on investment with kidney cancer via $ from the CDMRP. Am I missing something?

@LeaderJohnThune CDMRP cuts were the wrong thing to do. Huge return on investment for veterans and civilians alike. There’s nothing America First about *completely defunding * kidney cancer research for veterans, who have a disproportionately higher rate than the public. Do better.
