@BE061184@stepfanie Because it’s a significant cultural issue involving medicine, law, public policy, etc. People naturally discuss issues that shape society, whether they agree or disagree. Why does it bother you that people comment. Do you want to fuck Elliot?
@EP41205@LanceMcAlister Isn't the free pizza also a bit of a joke? Maybe I'm wrong but isn't it to the first 2000 fans who log in and get a code? I thought they scaled it back after the first year.
@RedsDaily4 The Reds need to shake things up. Trade anyone and everyone if it makes the team better. I was young in 1971 when the Reds traded Lee May-easily their best hitter in 1971. Fans hated Bob Howsam at first. They got Morgan, Geronimo, Billingham, Menke and Armbruster.
@ThePoniExpress As a Reds fan, I was glad for the win, but I also feel the pain of the Pirates fans. We see bullpen meltdowns on a regular basis, too. The sun still comes up in the morning!
@cincitysports1 Everybody has to be available for a trade at any time if it improves your team. There should never be an untouchable. The "untouchable" philosophy causes the FO to fear making changes. The Brewers and Rays are teams in small markets who constantly make improvements.
@MattsTake1 I think everyone has to be available, although I too am skeptical that Krall can get true value in return. For good context of what the Reds *could* get, look at what the Nationals got from the Padres for a few months of Juan Soto! The Nationals made out like bandits!
@LanceMcAlister I know it's not fashionable to blame the coaches, and, yes, I agree that the talent of the players must be questioned, but why do the Reds players seem to regress? Take McClain--he's hitting barely .200 but his approach never changes. He takes way too many 1st pitch strikes.
@NobleNegroe The defense gambled on a legal strategy. If this is a self defense claim and the main question is what Anthony reasonably believed, and Anthony never testified, you can see why some people would say the defense left the jury without the strongest evidence on that point.
@probablybritt16@ForgiatoBlow47 Apparently, the family raised money for a defense and did receive donations close to $700,000 (in that range). They effectively made the decision not to choose their own counsel by going with a public defender. "if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."
@ForgiatoBlow47 Add bad trial strategy. A defendant is not required to testify to claim self-defense. But when the defense depends largely on his perception of the threat, declining to testify can make the self defense claim harder to sell to a jury.
@LanceMcAlister Cincinnati Reds Present: “We Know” Night
Every fan receives:
* A paper bag for their head.
* A free therapy session.
* A commemorative poster featuring all the promises and comments made since Castellini bought the Reds
@LanceMcAlister At some point, you just run out of things to say. One good thing...no need to worry about whether the Reds will buy or sell at the deadline. Sell,baby, sell. All of them. Elly. Sal. Just get it over with. Play with 7 players. Sell the rest.
