acotar fans love to deduce everything they don’t like to bad writing when it’s probably intentional. there’s a reason sjm wrote rhys not telling feyre about her pregnancy. there’s a reason she wrote him coming off as borderline abusive in ember’s bonus chapter is cc3.

if rhys and feyre are arguing over nesta there’s probably a reason for that. in the books that aren’t in feyre’s pov he’s not seen as a hero and there’s a reason for that too. they’re not ready to come to peace with the fact that he’s kinda cruel and thrives off control.
