@magpies_history@warnockofficial I was 20 then what an time to be a Notts fan with Sir Warnock .We was an average club under John Barnwell with players ready for retirement in the squad. Then Sir Warnock can in got rid of them especially Gary(sicknote)Birtles and turned us around really enjoyed the ride
@magpies_history Tristan Benjamin had the great pleasure of working with him at @NCT_Buses in the early 2000s . Really brilliant person to talk too absolutely true gentlemen
Can't believe that Beatties toy shop 3-5 Mount Street, wasn't mentioned spent time in there in the mid 70s to early 80s looking and buying toys
10 loved and lost Nottingham shops that we’d love to see return in 2026 https://t.co/G8W9PudY2n
My YTS company who took me on full time after 6 months on placement with them . Where I spent 7 years travelling the length and width of the UK from 1987 to 1994 installing Lightning Conductors, Electrical Earthing and abit of Steeplejack work chucked in for good measure.
Bloody hell this Easter will be 40yrs since I left comprehensive school and joined the YTS . Next year 2027 will be 50years since my first @Official_NCFC match at the lane
Bloody hell do I feel old
