@steelernation@rach_elizabethh Mahomes deal in 2020 made him the highest paid qb in the league and in 2026 heโs a bargain in comparison to these other guys. Players keep resetting the market and the cap keeps rising. It seems bad now but in 2 years it will seem normal.
@rach_elizabethh Every year guys are resetting the market and everything else follows. The cap keeps rising with that, itโs not gonna be as bad after a year or 2.
@SleeperNFL At this given moment Jaxon Dart. Itโs common to see people assured that heโs already proven heโs a franchise qb. I believe he will be a solid player though.
@scotty4x41313@Mr0at5@Alex_Kozora That would only steer players away from wanting to negotiate with the browns in the future as well. No team is going to let Myles Garret sit out with his trade return while heโs holding them hostage with a massive amount of cap.
@scotty4x41313@Mr0at5@Alex_Kozora Myles wouldn't get paid, but the contract doesn't just disappear. The Browns can't build their roster like he's gone when he can end the holdout at any time. Their leverage is hurting their own team and getting no value. That's why these situations end in trades or new deals.
@cobb3535@ChrisDokish Not even just drafting but they got Todd Monken in charge of the development and donโt really see him as a strong culture guy. Could be wrong but doubt it.
@scotty4x41313@Mr0at5@Alex_Kozora But is not a matter of opinion. The browns front office didnโt โknow when itโs time to tear it down.โ Myles has been in Japan all offseason and had a no a trade clause. He decided it was time to leave. The two scenarios have no correlation and itโs a made up narrative.
@ThePoniExpress At this point the most they could get is if he came out hot this year and by the trade deadline the Steelers record was bad enough to trade him to a team that believes they are a piece away. I donโt really see another scenario were a team would be willing to give up a 1st.
