I should add too that Denise’s project is a great highlight of the undergrad research opportunities at the @DukeLemurCenter and in @EvAnthDuke more broadly! That and Denise being an overall amazing researcher, but perhaps that goes without saying!

Just read the new paper in Nature Comms "The association between early career informal mentorship in academic collaborations and junior author performance". While it is technically "science", its conclusions are pretty gross.
@KFeilich Mmmm, my approach would probably be first to set up a pca of your spatial predictors to establish independent spatial axes. As for setting up your matrix and model, the spatial package in R has some good tools for this. That's about as far as my knowledge extends
