@egm1986@mecafolidas@AthleticsGBR Even without "proper training" during uni and no matter how much talent you have, 4:12 to 3:52 is literally impossible to achieve naturally in a single year. It's clear she's a super-responder to PEDs once she decided to train professionally.
@ORION_coaching Athletes responding better to drugs than others is a non-argument when athletes already have varying, genetic-dependent responses to many other things like training, recovery, sleep, etc. It's not as intrusive/sport-defining of an extra layer as you are making it out to be.
@ORION_coaching Elite sports are very unhealthy in the first place. May as well let consenting adults take stuff in a safer manner than having them constantly try to avoid detection via microdosing or by ingesting fast-acting compounds that are more liver toxic just to avoid testing positive too
@ORION_coaching Half your schtick is passive aggressively (or aggressively given you call people retards at times) shaming athletes for "suspicious" performances, when in reality it's a fruitless endeavor if they're all on the sauce anyways.
@sprtrlrnnr@daviidn02 The only person she's lost to at an international championship in the 10k recently is the greatest women's distance runner of all time, and Chebet isn't even running this year.
@ruostu@cleans_letsrun this page doesn't do the research it thinks it does. Just spams article after article with no real original rhetoric/takes of their own
@amberjainay The guy ran 9.9 over 10 years ago ur smoking crack if u think he's been natty for the last decade. doesn't discount the fact that rae is a snitch tho
@MementoQuamfy@BobbyJamesPoker Don't think he's ever been backed, esp for a tourney under $1k. He's been grinding mid/high stakes for years now. Is coached by Alex Theologis though
@ilovecocopops1@TrackGazette She was given stuff as a child and has practically been groomed into pro sports. Maybe try to have some sympathy for Hodge's situation.
Also lifetime bans is an awful solution to anti-doping fwiw.
@ORION_coaching *Yawn* Pick-me take. Every major marathon has always been like this. Just better talent doing it on the right day w/ right competition.
"Hurr, guys they're on drugs enhanced games reference xDDD", no shit dude. Still amazing to witness either way.
@LawLitz@scottfaubs Doping's been around in just about every elite sport since the 60's lmao shut the fuck up dude. Leave your superficial statistics-fueled xenophobia and "clean sport" virtue signaling at the door.
