Every year, I watch this ceremony. This feed includes the photos & ages of those tragically lost on 9/11. Most were older than me in 2001; my current age has now surpassed many. Frozen in time, these unfortunate souls never had the opportunity to experience the last 24 years. 🇺🇸

He asked for a call after *I* got consent from his patient for brain surgery the next day. (Doctors get consent, not nurses.) I hung up on him. He proceeded to call, cussing me out, for the next hour.

Got into “my” car (in the days when we didn’t lock our cars). “That’s weird. I don’t remember leaving papers on the passenger seat”. Turn around to put my bag in the backseat. “That’s a car seat. I don’t have a kid. OMG! This isn’t my car!”

4. Leading me to move in with great-grandma; died month I turned 27
