Jordanian intelligence just kidnapped a witness in order to obstruct an American trial, on Qatar's behalf.

Abdullah Ibhais, a whistleblower who was jailed for three years in Doha after exposing how Qatar treated migrant workers during the 2022 World Cup, was seized from a mosque in Amman by Jordan's intelligence service, in front of his two children, with no arrest warrant and no lawyer allowed near him.

It comes twelve days before he's set to give a deposition, on August 20, in a U.S. case over forced labor and human trafficking tied to the 2022 World Cup. He'd been subpoenaed by a federal court in Colorado and had only just picked up his U.S. visa on August 6.

His family says Jordanian intelligence already tried to arrest him in May, searching his home before backing off.

They then held his passport for two months, which the family says was meant to stop him testifying virtually from the U.S. Embassy in Norway. That also cost him a scheduled meeting in Washington with Congressman Jim McGovern.

The family also says Ibhais had previously confronted his Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate interrogators about acting on Qatar's behalf.

They never denied it.

"Arafath Mohammad" did not inform any neighbors of his plan to build a mosque when he purchased the home.

Residents then STORMED the council hearing saying:

“We do not want Sharia law in this area,” said another Lancaster County resident.
