Sometimes, it is so frustrating when you know what they have done wrong (quarterly use paid monthly), but no one has the sense to see it. I pay quarterly on receipt of bill, and only after I have scrutinised the meter

@TORNADOTITAN @SimonLock74 @BritishGas If they are looking to increase your monthly payment from £37.17 to £116.15 they are looking to increase it by £78.98. That is an increase of 212.5% of the original £37.17.
As you say, it looks like they are trying to charge you your quarterly bill on a monthly basis.

I was driving north on the A12 and could see the smoke at Brentwood. Once I got past the A130 at Howe Green I could see fire engines and incident units driving south on the A12.
The smoke looked intense, so hopefully, everyone is alright.
