💯 this is a very minor adjustment that would make the game a lot less frustrating for everyone involved. When you have a have a bunch of players around the goal line there should be no offside. This is the dumbest rule in all of sports.

Eliminating offside in the box is the one rule that would make soccer better.

The spirit of offside is about penalizing cherry picking. But calling offside that close to the goal is dumb, rewards bad defense, ruins so many legitimate goals.
