You should have things you don't do, places you don't go to, substances you don't take, words you don't say
By all means, have Principles and Standards.
people have their favourites and you might not be one of them. you could have a great relationship with someone, always show up for them, give your best and even go out of your way to make them feel special.. yet still not be the person they cherish most. it stings at first but that’s life. people love differently and their affection is not always tied to effort, loyalty or consistency. sometimes the person they adore isn’t doing half of what you do but that’s not your cue to compete for a place in someone's heart. it’s your cue to rest, remain genuine and understand that being yourself is far more rewarding than being someone’s favourite. stay where your presence is valued, your efforts are appreciated, and your absence is felt.
As a parent you shouldn't be telling your kids that you sacrificed your life for them, It’s hurtful and manipulative, and it’s not true. You chose to have your kids and nobody forced you to have them. Taking care of them is your responsibility.

Some of my kitchen pet peeves 😭😂
1. Using a sieve, blender, grater, or any kitchen tool and not rinsing it immediately.
2. Not washing the turning stick immediately after making eba or any swallow
3. Rinsing Maggi hand inside the food. It annoys me so much😭
4. Dropping the spoon used for cooking stew or soup on top of the pot, with oil dripping all over the lid.
5. Advising me on a "better" way to cook. At that point, I'll gladly leave the kitchen for you to continue.
6. Not soaking the pot after the food is finished and leaving it to dry up and become crusty.
7. Leaving wet tissue on a dirty plate in the sink.
8. Not washing your plate after eating.
9. Washing plates and leaving food particles in the sink.
10. Failing to rinse the sponge properly after washing dishes.
11. Stacking wet dishes inside the cabinet.
12. Putting food in the microwave or fridge without covering it.
13. Putting the whole pot inside the fridge instead of transferring the food into a container.
14. Taking ice from the freezer and not replacing it.
15. Leaving food crumbs on the counter and not cleaning them up after cooking.
