The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Iro), departed this morning for Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. During his five-day stay in Abu Dhabi, he is expected to hold talks with representatives from various countries on bilateral, regional, continental, and other specific issues.

President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Iro) will conclude his five-day visit to Abu Dhabi on Sunday evening. He will then leave for Tel Aviv, Israel, for a three-day official working visit. During his time in Israel, he is expected to hold intensive discussions with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as various representatives from other countries based in Israel. Additionally, he is expected to officially inaugurate the embassy that Somaliland opened in Jerusalem, in a grand ceremony.

Israel, UAE, and Somaliland are expected to sign agreements to cooperate on trade, security, tourism, mining development, agriculture, energy, human resource development, and various other issues.
