i’ve consumed a LOT of peter’s work and he said some things he’d said on telly at least ten years ago, not just the callbacks to his most famous jokes but stories he told that i recognised from several years ago

i see what people were saying about him using old stuff though, it felt more like him bringing back his old stuff and giving his fans an enjoyable night rather than a whole new show

he can hold whatever views he likes and express them but there’s a difference between that and using vulnerable people as the butt of the joke

like he’s a 50 year old man so i’d expect the odd comment not being 100% ‘pc’ without him really realising, but he knew he’d upset/offend people with some of the things he said because he said so multiple times

@nic_shout @peterkay_co_uk even as a big fan of his i have to agree, using derogatory terms for easy laughs as well as other parts of the show just ruined it. seemed more interested in punching down + trying to make a point that he could say whatever he liked.
